Yes I would definitely bring back all electronics and furniture, I just moved from there to here and every thing is way more expensive there!
The only thing that is the same is ikea, and they have more choice.

I've just moved back to the UK and think differently to ontheroad. Wouldn't buy a fridge in HK as they are cheaper in the UK and you get more variety, tv and hi-fi - if you want the most up-to-date then buy in HK we did but these things are not more expensive than HK just not as up-to-date.

Furniture - depends on what kind of furniture you are looking to buy. Everything we own was bought in HK and it is definitely cheaper than back in the UK. One word of warning - be careful about sizes. Our bed, dining table and sofas didn't look so large in our old flat in HK but would not have fitted into many flats in London so look at it carefully and measure (do not buy american king size bed as you will cut down a lot on the places you can rent or buy unless you wish to replace your bed before it arrives!) Good luck with the move.

YES, I would definetely compare prices from the above stores before you purchase alot of things. I think things like the large TV's, highfi and DVD players etc would be much cheeper here in HK. Furniture would all depend on what style you like, you definetely would have more choice in the UK though, like most things. GOOD LUCK with the move.
