Moving to Macau but giving birth in HK

We're moving to Macau early next year due to my hubby job relocation. My was advised by my Obs that I can give birth in HK while I still have my HK ID. My hubby will have both HK work visa and Macau work visa. Has anyone done this before? I will wait till my water break, take ferry to HK, pass the immigration then take a taxi to hospital. Is this possible? Wouldn't I will be in pain and unable to walk around?

Haven't been in the same experience but can tell you from having three babies that you might not be enough time to eat from Macau to HK after your water bursts....depending on how much water leakage there is it could be fast or slow...might want to come to HK a day before your due date? Not sure how that's done from those whove had real experience though...just seems kind of tight to me...and risky...

I was told by a few of my friends regarding their horrible experience giving birth in Macau, so I think it is a right choice to give birth in Hong Kong. If this is your first birth, you should have enough time (don't wait until water bursts, just start to come to HK when there is a sign of labor, e.g. bleeding or contraction in 15-30min gap) . Good luck!
