Hi I'm Alison mum to Charlie, we will be moving to Hong Kong in January for a year for my husbands work. We'll be staying in the Harbourfront Horizon appts in Hung Hom. Is there anyone here that lives there?

Are there any baby groups in HK to go to? I'd love to join in if there are to try and make some new friends, I worry I'm going to get lonely in the week while my husband is at work so it would be great to make some friends and know that I'll be able to meet up with people before we move.

we're staying in Causeway Bay and if u dun mind it's a bit far away and u r more than welcome to join to our family to have some gathering. I've got a baby gal with 5 months and a bit.... Cheers

I moved here a few months ago with my husband and baby (who will be 7 months in January). I just wanted to reassure you that HK is a really easy place to meet people and you'll have a ball! I was similarly nervous when I moved but it's really been fine and we have people to see/ things to do almost every day. If you'd like to meet me for a coffee when you arrive, let me know (I'm back the second week in January) and please feel free to private message me with any other queries you've got.

I just discoverd this forum,and my first post is for you.
I'm also moving to Hong Kong in the end of january with my husband and our 12 months old baby, Noah.
I will also be happy to meet other mothers when i will be in Hong Kong.
We are now looking for an appartment on Kowloon side hopefully in TST or Olympic , i let you know once we'll find it.
Is there any regular meetings with mothers and babies already planified ?

i also have a 6mths old baby girl and would like to meet up. just cant stand her yelling @ home. haha.
i am chinese and i have move back to HK from can. i am ok with most area in hk as it is easy access.
