Planning on moving Aprtments. Any contacts of movers/packers .

I would keep away from Magnum movers, they moved us recently and got drunk by 10:30 am, had long lunch breaks and one of the guys who managed to get drunk and go on my spinning bike without a saddle on had to have 20 stitches in his leg. They also broke a few things.
Jumbo Movers are good, my friend used them last week and said they were brilliant.
 
We used Yan Yan recently to move offices and they were really good. They sent 10 guys and we were packed in an hour and were in our new place within 3 hrs. Got a quote from Jumbo, but they were quote was a bit higher.

We've also used Farid /Ft movers and they arrived 4 hrs late, hungover and without any packing materials. We moved to our new place at midnight, and pissed off all our new neighbors. :)

We used SC movers recently. They have bad customer service over the phone but surprisingly they did the job well and fast. It was also cheap.
 
I am afraid we did not have a good experience with Yan Yan at all. They were hours late, they promised one mover would speak English but none of them did, they were not careful at all with our stuff (and broke several plates, cups, etc), took 2 hour lunch breaks, the list goes on. All in all I found it an extremely stressful experience with Yan Yan - very different from what I was used to with other moving companies. I used Yan Yan because of the recommendation on geobaby, but I will never use them again.
