Mothers Group for Aussie with 6 month old

Hi, I have just arrived in HK with my 6 month old baby boy. I am currently staying in Repulse Bay but looking for an apartment in mid-levels. I really miss my Sydney mothers group and I would love to catch up with other mums here in HK. Are there any mothers groups that I could join in the central HK area please? Thanks.

Welcome to HK! I can relate to how you are feeling. I left my most WONDERFUL mother's group in Sydney to move to HK in 2006 when bub was just 5 months old. There isn't a similar system but there are pockets of mothers who meet regularly for coffee here and there. Just watch out for postings on this website. I think there is a geobaby mother's group at meets at Cyberport every Thursday.

I just moved to HK 3 weeks ago from Sydney with a 3 months old boy. The same feelings like do to miss our nice mothers group in Australia.

I have got ahold of some new mums recently who also live in Mid Levels and they'd like to meet on this Thur at 2 or 3pm in Lyndhurst Terrace(close to central). Do you can join us? We will confirm it very soon.

Hi Sherwes, I am also new to HK (I am Aussie) with a 11mth old & 3 yro girl and missing my connection of mums & playgroups.

Whilst we are based in Stanley permanently and our babies a few months apart happy to meet up around this area for a coffee/playdate. As I am also in need of some adult conversation!

Sadly Sherwes has left our shores so won't be able to reply to your message. I'm sure there are other aussie mums with young bubs around who would be able and keen to form a new group! Quite a few of us miss Sherwes very much, she totally rocked.....
