a nice quiet day at home with my two beautiful children and my loving husband! maybe a paddle in the paddling pool in the garden and a great BBQ steak for dinner!

Since I became pregnant and now that my baby girl is born, I appreciate my mother more and more each day (I don't think you can truely understand what your mother went through to have and raise us until we go through it ourselves.) So this year, I have booked a lovely restaurant which both my mother and mother in law likes, and will be taking our baby to have dinner with us too (she will have her favourite food too - my milk!), it will be the first mother's day with her for me and our mothers.

We are making a miniature baby album of their grand-daughter to present to them.

It's nothing spectacular but to us, it will be a special memorable day.

Go to a park and play together with my son and husband, have lunch at my favorite restaurant then spend the evening at home.

It will be my first Mother's Day this year. I work full time so make the most of in the evenings and at the weekends with my 9 months old son. We will be celebrating early Mother's Day with my mother-in-law, sisters-in-laws and a quiet one on the day with just my son and my stay-at-home husband. I truely think the Mother's Day should go to my husband who has done a brilliant job in bringing up our son single handed during the weekdays and who calls me up suddenly at work telling me of our son's first word, first cheeky smile all of which I have noted down in his first year calendar.

My husband and I are taking the baby to Manila this weekend. We will celebrate Mother's Day there. A big milestone for us as a family - 1) baby's very first overseas trip (also dressed rehearsal for our October trip to Toronto!); 2) our first mother's day with a baby; 3) my first mother's day as a mother!

My first Mother's day, looking forward to celebrate it after years and years of trying to conceive. We will first call my mom and mom-in-law in our home country, then we will go to the park and have a good lunch in a hotel nearby. My husband will be flying for a business trip at night time so it will just be me and my baby after lunch. That's fine with me, just seeing and being with my baby makes my day.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!!

This year mother day my hubby buy air tickets for me and my son to fly back to my home country to give a surprise visit for my mum :) It's gonna a big surprise for her.

Happy mother day everybody.

I went to see 'Burn the Floor' show with a friend last Friday, and said to hubby, that can be the childrens' early mother's day gift to me ;)

I think hubby will get a card and a gift on behalf of our 2 kids who are both under 3. If it's a nice sunny day, we'll probably go for a drive somewhere. I'll be flying back to see my parents the following day, so I will be able to wish my mum a belated 'Happy Mother's Day' in person, and give her some gifts from HKG.

Spending Saturday with my own mother and father, we're having a bbq at home. Sunday we're gathering for brunch, along with my daughter's godparents, and then vegging at home! I am certain my daughter will come home with a special drawing for me from playgroup. It'll be my second Mother's Day...loving it.

it will be my first Mothers Day too! My mother in law is in town specially for our daughters christening and so my hubby has decided to take my mother, his mother and I for a special lunch and of course we will be bringing the girls. I think it will be afew years before I have breakfast in bed!

we're planning to go to the organic market at Island School in the morning. then we'll drive to Sai Kung to meet my sister, have lunch their (we live on HK Island), browse around that organic shop & bring DD to visit the organic farm in Sai Kung. It'll be organic day!!

getting together with another mum and family (1 kid versus our 3!) for lunch somewhere quiet.

Wish us luck - I'm betting all restaurants and cafes will be crowded :-)

:tmi

we're going to have lunch w/ my mother in law and we're going to skype my mom back in the states.

Hi everyone - first off Happy (early) Mother's Day to all!

My plans for this Sunday are to call my mom (living overseas) up first thing and say "Thank you":

- for bringing me into this world (so that I in turn have now brought to this world my son).

- for being patient with me (and teaching me patience so that now I have it for my son).

- for loving me through and through and showing me how one should love their children in good times and bad (so that now I share the same love for my own child).

- for standing by me in times of difficulty and need - from teething pains as a baby to the difficult choices made in adulthood (so that now I stand beside my son and give him all the support that he needs to grow into a kind and caring person).

After that, I'm planning to spend the rest of the day with my son (I'm back to work FT) - playing, reading, walking, whatever he likes to do!

I am hoping hubby might take care of the logistics of getting us and our two preschoolers from Tai Po to our church in Wan Chai.. That would be the best pressie!

Mother's day

this will be my 5th mother's day. my husband is at home and i am having lunch with a whole lot of other mothers
