Mother and Baby group meeting in Disco bay

there are many groups out there...how old is your baby and do you want to meet in mornings or afternoons etc.?

We have moved to DB last month. Is there a twin club here? I feel quite isolated, people seem to have their own groups of friends. It's hard to meet someone with twins as I only meet their maids.

I hope we can meet up soon.

I'm not sure how old your babies are, but you're most welcome to join us. Teeks, we have one set of twins too. Our kids range from 21 - 27 months. We have a few regular mothers and children, but some travel a lot and can only join us occasionally. That's absolutely fine with us. One of our mothers is a travelling mom, so we kind of schedule our get-together around her days off. So I can't really say what day we meet during the week, but normally it's from 3:30 p.m. onwards. We take turn hosting the get-together, and try to meet up outside as much as we can when the weather is good. We're an English-speaking group, with mothers from 5 different countries, and sometimes more.

Thanks, but my baby is only 5 mths old. Is there any group for younger baby? prefebably in the afternoon.

hey snowball and teeks!
my boy is 4 months old next week. maybe we could get together next week? i can do most days after 11am. my problem is that we board dogs at our house so we sometimes have quite a few dogs here, so i can't host the morning.
maybe we could start out going to pacific coffee for 1/2 hour or 45 minutes with our little ones just to chat?

Glad you all have babies within the same age range, and do get connected. That's really nice.

i'm trying to take Liam everyday. yesterday, i was able to put his head under about 6 times and he didn't whimper at all! i think that he's startig to enjoy it! i actually got a couple of laughs out of him! yeah!

sorry to hear that teeks, i hope that you feel better soon!... if it's next week i can do it in the mornings(earlier) too. i'm working by appointment so i just need to know which time to block out on my calendar.
 
is anyone getting together?

Hi!

I am brand spankin' new to HK and moving to DB when we can get into our apartment. (Right now in temp. housing in Central.) I don't know a soul here and would love to meet other moms. I am a first time mom of a 3 1/2 month old boy born in NYC. Getting together to chat in DB and letting our babies play together would be great. Anyone?
