My 18 month must have been biten by a mosquito last night or this morning, so i have put some antihistamine cream on the bite, no problem there but I have noticed this afternoon that the bite has bubbled and is now seeping. Bites dont usally bother him, so he hasn't been scrathing it to iritate it either.

Is this normal?? Can anyone give me advice on what to do with the bite. I have already put some antiseptic cream on the bite.

thanks in advance of your responses.

Sounds like you did the right thing. Maybe put a plaster on it as well.

Also it could be a different type of bite. One time I thought it was an infected mousquito bite on my dd, but when I brought it to the Dr. (it was not healing well) he said he thought it was a spider bite.

thanks loupou, its not healing well actually, it doesn't look infected though, also little one keeps on scratching it which doesnt help. I think if I put a plaster on it, the little monkey would only pull it off. Perhaps it could be a spider bite, in which case should he have it look at???

A plaster might help. BB might try to pull it off, but still it will help keep him from picking at it.

If you're nervous and worried, it never hurts to speak to a Dr. But..... it also depends on your finances or health insurance.
