Montessori phonics

I'd like to start home montessori. But I'm not sure which phonics system to use. Should I get Jolly phonics? Where can I buy it in HK?

I can't find anything similar in the HK Book Fair yesterday. Please advise. Thanks.

I taught my daughter to read using the Jolly Phonics. I bought them from Wise Kids. The two shops I know are on the ground floor of Pacific Place at Admiralty and the third floor of Princes Building in Central. The shop in Princes Building has a whole set which covers everything you could possibly want.

what age to start jolly phonics?

son not really speaking but recognises everything - would love to encourage speak and thought jolly phonics might be fun to use. He is 20 months old. Any ideas?

My daughter started learning phonics when she ard 20mth old, but we use Zoophonics...which i think is not v commonly found in HK. I personally feel this method of phonics is very interesting and fun for the kids, using animal pix to learn phonics. My girl manage to pick up phonics within a month. Maybe tis is 1 mtd tat u can explore for your son.
