I am a mom to a 3mos old living in Yuen Long. Any moms in Yuen Long who would like to meet up? Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi! Seems like most people live in Kowloon. I was going to join one of the Kowloon groups but I need to work so I can only make it on weekends. May be we can meet up in Yuen Long on one of the weekends!
 
I live in Sheung Shui with a three year old and would love to join you both if you are interested? It isn't too far via bus.

We are the midst of negotiating a home at Yuen Long. Hopefully it doesn't fall through as it did last year. Keep me posted! I'm only able to meet on weekends. And (fingers and toes crossed) it all happens, I'm more than happy to host at our house and offer afternoon tea, blow up the pool etc. in the backyard. We will be at Fairview Park.

Yay to N.T. West mums on the fringe of China. It's time for the English speaking mums there to get together!

Megan, you can take the Westrail MTR line to Yuen Long as well. Great if you can join us!

Sorry Megan, you live in Sheung Shui, what was I thinking, not the westrail line. Right, it's not far via bus! May be we can meet next weekend? What's everyone's schedule like? Where would be the best place? By the way, I'm new to forums, can we send group pm?

Mamapanda, just found out we got the house we wanted! Woohoo! Will be moving on the 1 of August. Would love to host meetings at our home. Will be in touch.

congratulations! QM! Thanks for offering to host meetings at your place! That would be great! Are you going to renovate the place before moving in?
Shall we all meet on a Saturday this month and get to know each other first? Let's say July 16 for a late afternoon tea?
 
Someone please PM me the meetup details when you all decide what you're doing. I think for the first meet-up we should meet in a public place in Yuen Long. I have suggestions of places to meet if anyone is interested.
 
Sun Yuen Long Centre (the mall right above the MTR Yuen Long Station) is pretty baby friendly. Except there's no coffee shop there. There's a Taiwanese restaurant. We can have bubble tea. Any other suggestions? Any baby friendly places in Yuen Long?

There's a Red Forrest Cafe there that would be perfect and they do serve drinks--they have a lot of space and an area out front to part strollers--usually not overly busy. Used to go there all the time with my son when he was an infant just because of the space.

There aren't any hugely baby friendly places in Yuen Long but there are places that have more space and aren't as busy. There is another Vietnamese restaurant over by City Mall that has a lot of space where we could meet.
 
If it's July 16th, I have to work on that day and can only meet in the evening. Let me know about the next gathering.
 
If Strawberry's unsure and Thanka can't make it, then we'll have to postpone. Since others can't make it neither. So may be Aug.?
