Hi Everyone,

I have just moved to Hong Kong last week with my 3 month old baby girl and husband. We are staying at the Four Seasons in Central for a few months until we find a flat and I wanted to know if there were any moms out there that would like to meet up for coffee or lunch?

Hi Claire,

We have set up a group of new mums to Hong Kong that meet on Tuesday. This Tuesday we are going to a toy sale but usually we meet in a play room at someone's apartment block or at Rumpus Rooms. You are more than welcome to come along.

Otherwise I am happy to met up with you anytime. Just send me a private message.

Next catch up

There are a group of mum's meeting on a regular basis with babies aged 5months to 14 months around Central/Midlevels area. If anyone else is interested in joining let me know. Our next catch up is Thursday 10th August from 2-5pm at Bamboo Grove playroom. If you are interested just send me a private message.

A playgroup for a special needs child and sibling...

Hello there, we're new to HK and this forum. We live in ML-Central area. I have a 3 yr old boy who is special needs and a 1 yr old girl. Although my son cannot walk yet (but is an avid crawler and climber, and is partially-sighted, he's very sweet-natured and sociable. My little girl is very active and quite the extrovert. We are currently waiting to place my son into a special needs programme, but in the interim, can anyone recommend a playgroup--that is special needs friendly-- we can join to socialise?
 
play gym in central

Hi!

You can try Gymboree in St John Building (near the peak tram station)
They have a 1 hour a day play gym where kids (6months old to 5 years old) gather to play and socialise. Call them up to ck for time schedule.

It is not really for special needs kids but my little girl (13 months old) learn to walk there..free entry if you are a member (life time membership fee for only HKD250 per family).
