Miss Snotty Nose

Hi,

my newborn (1 week) has a snotty nose - even though I have been told that breastfed babies have an immunization.

We just recently moved to HK, so I desperately seek some advice how to deal with the different temperatures (AC/outside). Should I see a doctor regarding the snotty nose or are there any other possibilities to help her get rid of it?

hi,

I personally think as long as it's making you worry incessantly and you need peace of mind, then yes, do go see the doctor or paeditrician! Given you've just arrived in HK, you can ask him/her a whole host of questions you may have at the same time...(although I've noticed that they tend not to give definitive answers on day to day practical living questions - you'd get better feedback from other mums!!)

Better visit the doctor. You will feel better.
BTW, your NB need to have the checkup in one month's old, just have the early checkup.
