Milton Sterilising Tablets

Hello...I want to know if this is quite safe and is there any other way to sterilise bottles when travelling? TIA

Milton tablets work fine.

There are travel sized steam sterilizing bags for use in a microwave if you will have one available. There are also travel sized electric steam sterilizers that you plug in, but they are rather bulky and not cheap. I've heard of people packing an electric hotplate and pot and boiling for 5 minutes to sterilize also.

I use the Medela microwave steam sterilizing bags for my pump at work everyday. You can use them for bottles and pacifiers too. All you need is water and a microwave. I think you can get them at Celki.

Hospitals often use sterilizing tablets similar to Milton's (not sure if they use the exact same brand or not). I know this is true for QMH's NICU as I have first hand experience there. They are very well tested and very safe.

Hi everyone, thank you for the responses....I am confidence in using the tablets now and thinking of buying the Medela Microwave bags....it sounds very convenient.
