Menstrual Cup

I loved my menstrual cup. I used the diva cup...and once things start again (I'm postpartum) then I'll get the bigger size and do it again. It took a little while to get used to it, but once I had it...awesome.

It's a cup that is used during menstruation, kind of applied like a tampon but it collects the fluid..... I had to google it as never heard of it before this post!

I have used Soft Cup. It was ok. The plus was that they can be used for longer that a tampon which is good if you are out and about. The minus' are that it is slightly uncomfortable (for me) to insert and can be messy when removed.

I read that one can last up to 10 years! Only thing I'm a little concerned is: Does the cup never "spill"?? I understand that it sucks on to the vagina, but what about when we sleep? Hm, so far, I have not read anything negative about it, except that it takes practice to get used to it. Thx for all your inputs.

if you put it in correctly, it doesn't leak, even when laying down. When you use it during heavy day though you need to empty it more often.

I used one for years, especially when I was traveling and living in countries where it's hard to find tampons.
Can be a bit messy when removing, takes some getting used to, and does sometimes leak at night, but overall, great. However, the rubber or whatever material it's made from definitely seems to have worn down. I would have to buy a new one now, after about 5 years of having had it. I got mine through the mail and it might have been the diva cup someone mentioned.
