Mei Tai carrier

If you don't mind unpadded carrier, traditional Chinese baby carrier can be bought at local markets. They are also a square piece with 4 ties. I've seen Mei tai's on DouBiBou.com, but their site is currently under construction. You can still send them your inquiry & still do normal shopping via e-mail.

I wish I could try it out first to see if baby and I would be comfortable in it..
