Meeting Santa

Hi, does anyone know where (and when) kids can "meet" Santa and maybe sit on his lap for a minute to tell him what they want for Xmas? Thanks!

If i remember correctly they made alittle park like where u pay to get in and then u take pictures of your kids on Santa. But the price is to get in the little garden like area. But then I might be wrong as have not been here for Christmas for past couple of years

Last year they constructed a proper house. It was fantastic. You pay $80 or $100 I think, get a photo and we took more of our own. I think they give a little present too but I could be wrong.

It's not a dinky operation with a dodgy Santa but something done really well. They fly the Santa in and I remember hearing he is one of the best in the world. No joke, he's seriously in demand!

I'm sure however there are free or cheaper Santas if you prefer just not at Pacific Place.

Pac Place fly him in from Canada from memory. He is very authentic. If you have a platinum Amex card last year you could get into the house for free etc. They take photos, and you can take your own photos as well. Yes, they did give some lindt chocolates as presents.

Not sure if they are doing it this year, as they haven't constructed anything in the mall as yet.

This was the only one we found last year, outside of a santa at the Matilda hospital carols. It wasn't quite the same "quality" of Santa.

I am surprised that Pacific Place need to fly the Santa in. I thought he could take care of that himself - what with his sleigh and all of those reindeer. Maybe the reindeer stipulate in their contract that they will only work on Christmas night....

Went to PP the other day, there was no house/building that can house santa like the years before. you sure that they are still flying in santa this year?

Hi,

Just been to disneyland and they have authentic looking santa for picture taking near the entrance where mickey and minnie used to pose. Nice background too.

If you go to Mickey's house, last portion is photo with mickey with Christmas decors.

I have heard that Santa won't appear at PP until 16th Dec! Also no specials for Amex holders.
Hang Hau's East Point centre have got a great little Santa's village set up. They said there is no charge to see Santa and get pics but as yet I've not seen him there.

There is one Santa in Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong. Kids can sit on his lap and take pics with him. Charge for $40 to visit Santa's home and $10 for taking pic with him.

pacific place's santa arrives on 16th dec. it's on the other side where you go to the MTR. i think they'll b charging $60/person for entrance fee, a small gift & 1 polaroid. but i bring my own camera so you can shoot as much as you want. real santa with real beard & beautiful santa home lay out. i'd say it's the closest thing to a visit to finland!

There's one in front of Times Square last last Saturday (dec6). My son was able to take photo with Santa. No charge though you have to line up.... I'm not sure if Santa will appear again this coming weekend, but good to try. We were there in the afternoon around 4 to 5pm...

I heard that Santa at Pacific Place is only there on special times. Does anyone know what they are?
Thank you
