MCHC appointment

When I was discharged with my baby, they said to go to MCHC 6 weeks after...but am hearing that I should have gone within a couple of days after being discharged.

We did go to a pedia last Tuesday and saw that my baby boy is doing quite well but now thinking if I should have brought him this past week to check for jaundice.

When did you go to the MCHC after being discharged?
 
From memory I took my kids to MCHC when they were about 4days old as we discharged early. We then went again at 1wk and then weekly until they had regained their birth weight. Then at 1m for vaccines.

You should get an appointment at MCHC at about 6wks for your postpartum check up.

Our baby also had her first mchc checkup at 4 days old as we left the hospital after one night. I had my 6 week checkup there too. They offered the normal post natal checkup, a Pap smear (think it cost $100) and a huge pile of condoms for $1. Lol
