I'm missing the point of this.
Is it trying to be an anti-vaccination poster ?
or
Is it trying to tell governments to stop trying to legislate againts junk foods?

If you read TJ's Notes on Virginia in its entirety, it mostly focuses on the second point (As long as we do not harm others, we can think and do whatever we please), but the message is getting lost with inclusion of babies&bun-breasts.

In way of explanation. First of all, this is meant to be eye-catching and is not a completely literal discourse on the quote by Thomas Jefferson but here are some comments (not mine) surrounding this image.

...and then the FDA food pyramid was BORN!

yeah. Depends what type of governmental figures are making the laws...the ones in the majority right now are the ones thinking pizza is a vegetable.

I'm surprised FB hasn't pulled the photo yet for being "offensive"! LOL

I think that the point is that the US gov. is increasingly trying to legislate what people and and cannot consume. To the point where it may one day seem "normal" for a baby to be nursing on a McD's burger.--that's my interpretation. But just like all things of this nature, it's open for interpretation.

People deserve what they get and when entire nations compromise on personal liberty, you get slippery slopes..
Here is my favorite quote:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_they_came…
Govt came along and decided on a misguided war on drugs,
That wasnt enough so they decided to go after tobacco.
The slipper slope is continuing to slip and now they are after food(junk or otherwise).

If people want this to stop then they must put a stop to the whole thing : get the govt out of peoples homes, kitchens as well as bedrooms.
