Hi, my doctor sent my info to matilda in week 9, however, they have no feedback so far(about 2 weeks after info submitted), my doctor called and checked with them, they said my case is deferred. does anyone have the same experience with matilda?? what does "defer" mean?? am i on their waitlist or just declined? i am very confused and worry abt i cannot get in any hospital. (doc said sanitorium already fully booked until may2010). Please help! Thanks.

I was in the exact same position. If you do a search you will find my thread on here and the helpful responses I got. It means that you are on a waitlist. I was getting panicky at about 12 weeks having not heard anything after my application went in at 9 weeks but by 16 weeks I was confirmed. It does depend as some of the ladies on here were only confirmed at 30 plus weeks. I hope that you are lucky and get confirmed soon. I am with Dr Grace Cheung and just before I was confirmed, the lady that handles the bookings at her clinic asked me if I wanted to book at Adventist instead and made some enquires for me to see if they had space. You could consider that as an option if your doctor also delivers there.
