Matilda Actual Cost 2018

Hi,

Just thought u would post this as I was looking for this info when I was pregnant but couldn?t find it.

Had LO at Matilda in Summer 2018. Natural birth and semi-private room came out to 140K total bill. Had epidural and baby needed to be under the jaundice lights. Stayed for four nights. Christina Hui was my OB.

Hope this helps anyone trying to make the decision on cost.
 
Dear Alj, Thanks for this piece of Info. would it be possible for you to share a high level split, because this looks way more than the prices listed on their website
 
Sure. 4 nights means an extra night beyond the package. Plus I was induced so forgot to mention that - this gets you to about 60-70k. The doctor?s charge is about 50k (and not included in any of the website packages), so that gets you to 110-120k. The rest is the charges for the baby - jaundice lights, daily check by paediatrician - plus food for family members. Hope this helps.
 
My husband reminded me - the doctor who does the epidural while v good charges about 13K so that was part of the fee as well.
