Hi,

Can anyone recommend some good mandarin classes or groups in causeway bay area for a 2 year old? thanks!

Yes, I'm also wondering if there are any mommy & me language classes available somewhere on HK island.

Margaret09,
How do you like the mandarin for tots and mums at the YWCA?
Has anyone tried the mandarin Music & movement class there too?

I heard of betterchines's good stuff for years but didn't have chance to experience it until last week. Frankly, I didn't expect such a great experience, the teacher is so passionate and energetic, the lesson is great! They have so intense curriculum while children are learning with lots of fun. Besides, i am also impressed by their 'tea time', it is actually another learning oopportunity because the teacher would ask the chilren to behave well and request them to practice what they have just learned in that lesson in mandarin. The duration of the lesson is 75min but I think it is comparable to other 1.5hr or even 2-hr lesson. 2 thumbs up!!!

There is a mandarin learning centre now opened in Causeway Bay on Leighton Road (opposite to Leighton Centre, above HSBC branch). They offer classes with thematic role-play sessions to enrich kids' interest in Mandarin. My 3yr old goes there for 3 months and his Mandarin has greatly improved...now singing Mandarin songs at home everyday!
