Hi - TC ladies, I'm 33 weeks and live in Mui Wo - I'm getting worried about delivery and what to do if it starts ? Are any of you ladies delivering at Queen Mary ?

Hi due5nov,
Our due dates are very close, my baby is due first week of November too.
I am attending Princess Margaret Hospital, so not Queen Mary.

If your worried about what to do when it all starts, there are some great resources online & even some great apps for your phone (contraction timers, baby logs etc) make sure your bags are packed, and you know where to go when you get to the hospital, you may or may not want to write a birth plan. Is that what you mean?

Yes thanks, I'll look online and at apps etc. In my antenatal class they said just go as soon as contractions start but I have a low pain threshold so am a bit worried about travel time.
I did try to get a hospital tour but they are fully booked until Dec! Ferries don't run 27/7 from Mui Wo and it maybe difficult to get a blue taxi depending on what time of day / night the contractions start. Husband maybe working so fingers crossed all my transportation fears are not an issue and the pain is manageable enough to travel. How have you found the PMH ?
