Lunch Tuesday 17th June

Hi guys

We are planning lunch this week on Tuesday 17th 12pm

Red restaurant - IFC Mall - Podium Level 4.

Personally I'm kind of hoping I won't be there as I'm due on the Monday but I'm also kind of excpecting that I will be there !!!

Apparently the restaurant is quite baby / stroller friendly so please bring the babies along.

i should be there. would quite like to give birth the following weekend so we'll see what this wee sprog has in mind

not sure there will be too many of us next week so, yes, def bring those babies along!
 
I hope I can make this one since not too far for me. Have been sleep deprived as baby is awake most nights!!!! Hopefully, no rain.

My little girl has made great strides the last few days. I actually feel well rested. We will have to wait and see about Tuesday though - especially with this weather. There should definitely be more moms and babies than pregnant women at this point.

Maybe it's because i finally got some sleep last night thanks to Mark doing 2 shifts, but i'm feeling energised and enthused about attempting a trip out and i think this may be a safe option!

We will try and be there.. Kate, i'll text you in the morning to give you a definite answer.

Penny definately try and make it - may be the last time there are spare pairs of hands around for extra baby holding as kelly and I are definately hoping next week we won't be at lunch !!!

is mark still off work? definitely give me a shout if you need any help of any kind while your mum is away. even if its just some adult company and an extra pair of hands for baby holding.
 
yes she did!!! on Friday at 5.20pm - 8 hour labour.
Lachlan Roy Mattner weighted 3.9kg if i remember rightly
 
Mark's at work.. we're all alone this week..had to happen sometime and so far today has been ok!!! Helped by the fact they slept 5 whole hours last night. I'm wholeheartedly embracing Gina Ford!!!!!
 
i'm a bit of a gina fan myself i have to say. well good luck with it all and don't be scared to shout if you need anything. i'm only up the road. will definitely pop over this week some time. maybe wednesday.

I don't think I can make it this week. We have quite the busy week already. Hope to see you all next week. Kate or Kelly which one of you are next?

sorry cant make it. Fynn has not been sleeping last nite and overtired this morning, screaming non-stop. What is this Gina Ford thing?
 
Gina ford - contented little baby is all about routine. It gives you rules/guidance to help get your baby sleeping/eating etc in a good pattern. i followed it religiously for the first 4 months but now wish i hadn't as i don't trust my own instincts. also if you are breast feeding a lot of it doesn't work as well. the things that were good are around daytime sleep and getting your milk supply up. if bottle feeding i know lots of people who swear by it though.
 
Thanks Jandlinhk & Rani. I had a look at the article and also checked out Gina Ford's books yesterday at the bookstore. I have tried to get the routine going even before this but nothing seem to be working. He is waking up like 3 am and not sleep till 6/7am! Previous times, he would cry and fuss the whole time but last nite, he was quiet most time, wide awake untill 7.30am this morning, cried a bit and dozed off due to overtiredness! I checked that he is not sleeping too much during the day and do the bath routine as instructed but still this waking period. Sigh.
