Lunch date?

Friday 11am sounds great to me!! I've been addicted to Starbucks Chocolate cream chip frappachinos (since I'm not meant to have any caffeine - they are caffeine free) - SOOOOOO GOOD!!

The 29th, I'm not so sure about. I'll have to let you know. Gotta let you know!! I'm a "probably" though...
 
Yay, Friday at 11 sounds great, I will be there too. I too am quite addicted to the frappuccino numbers from starbucks. Although, I have to say, they did come back to haunt me after the last pregnancy so have been trying to be a bit more comtrolled this time (not working). Just remembered that we're going to Bali on the 29th- whoops minor thing to forget about but I'll definitely be up for the August outing.

Very sad to be missing out on the luncheon but I guess going to Bali will have to make up for it- hah hah. Hope you all enjoy the chocolate fudge number.

It was great meeting up for a frozen treat last week. I hope I didn't scare you guys with my sleep deprivation rant, sorry about that. I did hear today though about a 7 wk old that now sleeps beautifully through that night (as in all night) so take no notice of me.

How did the scan on Friday go? Is the bub going to be a september or october arrival?-Rita
 
Hi Rita - the scan was fine and baby is, thank goodness, normal size and weight. The doctor said that, because I'm tall and it's my first baby it's hard to feel. Anyway, I was relieved - thanks for asking! So, it looks like it may well still be a very late September baby (just hoping not on my birthday).

How about a coffee on Friday morning - same Starbucks? Any takers?
 
Sorry ladies looks like I won't be able to make lunch, back at school already (Aussie school follows australian school terms). Hopefully I can make the next one!
 
Coffee on Friday sounds good - same time, same place (11:00 at Starbucks in Alexandra House). Let's try to get a nice comfy seat!

Hello ladies, I'm going to try to make it for coffee tomorrow. Can't stay too long as have a doctor's appointment, but enough time for a hot chocolate....!
 
Whoops forgot to keep up my reading and totally missed the coffee outing- sorry would love to have been there! Serves me right for not staying on the ball. I was actually on a shoe shopping expedition with the little one. Do you think I could find anyone who knew how to fit a young child's feet?!? No! so I hope she doesn't end up with foot issues otherwise I will feel very guilty. If I'd been on the ball, I could have even brought her along for a practise session- maybe next time.

Helen, that's great news about the scan. As if it isn't hard enough waiting for the due date but to extend it...well, that is just plain unfair. Anyway, selfishly, I was hoping to have some company in September!

Can't wait for the bali trip. Hope you all have a lovely lunch outing next week xxx
 
Whoops forgot to say...hilarious incident at Ocean Park the other day- the seventeen year old manning the carousel wouldn't let me on because I'm preggers!! Can you believe it?!? He told me I would get dizzy. Surely I am old enough and wise enough to decide if I can handle slight dizziness, I mean it's not like I was being force fed raw meat. I tried to pull the old no I'm just fat but he wouldn't have it.

I later consulted with my doc on the matter, she says she will write me a fit to ride letter next time. She has not come across any research to suggest issues may arise from pregnant women riding carousels!!
 
That's hilarious!!! Hope you go straight back after your holiday and brandish the letter - maybe even distribute around the park while swingng from the carousel!
