Looking for specialist assistance - Toddler Tantrums

We are going through a period with extreme tantrums from our 3yr old boy. Have any one had experience with using a counsellor or specialist that you would like to recommend?

Have you watched any of the Supernanny TV episodes. She gives really good advice from naughty corners to rewards for good behavior.
