private lessons for that age is not that uncommon. i used to have many kids in that age range. however, i think it is far better to have kids out and playing with other kids in a playgroup setting than in a one-to-one tuition setting.
Exactly my point! I agree, but i wanted to know if she already had her child participate in a group so that the social skills, interpersonal skills etc. are taken care of.
Collaborative learning is much more fun, rich and dynamic.
