Looking for Native English speaker

My daughter is now 10 months, we are still looking for a right English tutor for her. We are really require a nanny or a professional teacher, but a love and caring native English speaker. Our idea is that, given that my daughter is taken care of by her grandma, chances if exposing to English are low, as such, we want her to expose to English more.

She likes people reading books to her and singing to her. I am just wondering if any mums here are interested in part time, like one hour per day or alternate days.

I'm a Native English speaker and have experience teaching kids (I'm a mummy too), but live in Kennedy Town so Sai Wan Ho is a bit far for me to travel. Good luck on the search!

Hi, we are still looking for native English speaker to come at alternate days, would anyone be interested? Please let me know your charge out rate

Hi BabySophie,
I am a qualified early childhood teacher and native English speaker (British) living in Tai Koo. Are you still looking for someone to read to and interact with your child?

We are still looking for a right one, as said someone loving and caring would be enough. Do not require professional qualification

Besides the loving and caring part, what other requirements are necessary for the candidate to be sucessful?

Also, what didn't work from the previous 3 candidates?

Now that your daughter is almost 1 year old, why don't you have grandma take her to an English playgroup with NET? Would the travel be a problem for her?

Two if them think it is too far away from their place, one resided at Tuen Mun (1.5 to 2 hours journey for one way) and one at Kowloon Tong (a few transfer by MTR). The other one always promised to show up but never show up for sessions. We had had a great one, but she needed to go back to the US, and we were so upset that she could not come.

Other than loving and caring, of course, we are looking for some one who is native and is patient.

We would also take her to playgroup after one, but apart from that, we hope our daughter has a long term tutor to help her build up her English ability.

In fact, our expectation is very simple, look for someone to sing, read and play with our daughter in English on regular basis. We target at least alternate basis.

Hello,
I may be able to help. I run a free 30 min English playgroup near Olympic. It is on at 10 every Wednesday morning. You are welcome to come and join. And to make it worthwhile travelling I'm happy to do an extra 30 minutes at the end one on one for your child for a small fee. If you are interested please call me, 9258 5055. Naomi
