I'm looking for a Mandarin playgroup teacher to run an informal playgroup in a private home for 5-6 babies ranging from 9 months to 1 year. The moms speak English and Cantonese, and also some Mandarin. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

i have just hired a mandarin teacher for my playgroup centre and she is fantastic. i'm nor sure if she has any space left in her schedule for private playgroups, but i can ask her if you like.

It would be great if you could ask her whether she has space in her schedule. If she does have availability, please let me know how I can contact her (by pm if you like). Do you know how much she charges or the approximate going rates for something like this?

Many thanks!

I honestly don't know what her charges are... where do you live? I will talk to her in the next couple of days and see when/if she has time.

we have playgroup classes for 10 months-3+ years, in English or in PTH. We do simplified along with traditional characters.
for more info you can see our website: http://www.english-adventures.com

as for the PTH teacher... i got an email from her today with the following information:

"I charge HKD250/hour for 1-3 students, and HKD280/hour for 4-6 students base on the price I use to charge in Shanghai.

I am available all the mornings besides Tuesday. Monday afternoon before 5:00PM; Wed 1-2PM or after 4:30PM. And all the evenings besides Monday and Friday."

if you are interested please let me know and i will forward the email address to you.

PS> I hope this post is ok, if it's not rani, please let me know and i will amend it accordingly. thanks! cara
