looking for helper

I'm due in September and will be my first child. any recommendations for helpers good with newborn (but expected to support rather than take care full time). most time dedicated to household chores including cooking.

I'm not sure where to start and rather have referrals than from agencies.

Have you had a look through the GeoExpat classifieds:

You can browse the helper ads, or place your own ad. Would recommend including as much info as possible on the ideal candidate, and be prepared you will receive a lot of calls.

I conducted phone interviews first and if they passed it, arranged a face to face interview.
