Looking for full time domestic helper

Hello,

We are looking for referrals for a full time domestic helper to stay with a family with an 8 month old baby. We are primarily looking for a very responsible, mature and experienced helper who has been with a family over a long period of time and is only looking for employment because the current employer is transferring out of HK. The helper must already be in HK and working under existing contract.

The person must have excellent child minding experience particularly with children under 1 year old. Other requirements inlclude (but not limited to) are excellent personal and household hygiene, general household cleaning, and cooking.

I'm also looking for someone reliable for my 9 month old baby.
I don't want to look for her on www.amah.net as I would like someone strongly recommended by a family living HK (in fact hkmum73's needs are exactly mine except for the cooking and also I want my helper to live outside my home)

Full Time Live In Domestic Helper

Hi, we are also looking for a live in DH. Ideally I would like a DH that's recommened or with a good reference mabe one thats just finishing a contract with a family relocating back home. I have a 3 year old, a baby on the way and a large dog. Looks like we will be moving over to Discovery Bay so they must be happy to do so also or already been living there. Sorry I don't have any other recommendations. The one helper I know of just signed a contract.

Genny is Lovely Although You have almost certainly found someone by now, I thought I'd add a note.

my best friend's ex-helper is wonderful. So much so that i tried to emotionally blackmail my hubby into hiring her - even though we have a helper who is wonderful.

My friend has now moved back home as her hubby was transfered. If anyone is interest in Genny, do e-mail me at [email protected].

I have a personal reference from Janine. I know she is a wonderful cook and she looked after my son when he was a baby and I was between helpers so if I can trust her with my baby, that says everything. She also looked after J's children from birth to 6 years old.

Looking for Nanny / Domestic Helper

Hello. I am new to this website but will be relocating to Hong Kong next month with my husband and two boys. One boy is 4 years old. The other will be 6 months in March.

We are looking for helper to join our family as a nanny and as a domestic helper.

The number one prioirty is a good heart and who loves children. They should have experience with children and young babies as well as with helping run a home (cooking, cleaning, etc...).

We are currently in Vietnam but lived in Beijing for 3 years. My oldest boy spoke fluent Mandarin but since being in Hanoi for the last 10 months has not used it. Ideally we would love someone who could speak Mandarin and English but recognise this might be difficult.

Any leads anyone could offer would be useful.

Also looking for fulltime domestic helper

Hello.

I saw this thread with numerous recommendations.... We are also looking for a fulltime domestic helper. We will be arriving in HK at the end of February and will be in a serviced appartment for a month while we find our permanent accomodation. Possibly CWB as there is a spot for my oldest son at Kindergarten there. We also have a 5 month old baby.

Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also any advice on hiring a local DH vs. someone from overseas.

I know a very good helper. Imelda has worked in Honkong for 15 years. She was with us for 11 months. She has been a very reliabel, experienced, trust-worthy and independent helper. Her duties involved mintaining cleanliness in the house, washing and ironing and cooking. She performend all of these duties very well with minimal supervision. She is also experienced with children. She took care of a newly born baby and also an older one.

We have been very pleased woth her work the whole time. I would highly recommend her.

We have to terminat her contract because my husband is relocated to New York. She will be with us untill March 15. 2007. Her contact number is 65781461.
