Looking for a Moses basket

Hello,

I am looking for a Moses basket so the baby can sleep in our room while parents visit.

Any suggestions for an affordable option? Anyone looking to sell theirs?

Thanks!

yep, Eugene definitely has it. saw one at the shop in Shatin. tempted to buy it as well for my LO. probably feel more secure in it while sleeping.

by the way, can you put the basket inside a crib? seems safe for the baby as it's not in the floor or table and confined within the crib. the LO does not like the crib, trying to get better sleep for both the LO and us. :)

never mind, it's unsafe. scratch that idea. do not try at home as the baby may roll over inside the crib.

just came back from Eugene. they have tons of Moses basket. we ended up getting something called By Your Side Sleeper by Summer. sort of like a Moses basket, but it's metal frame and you put on your bed. hope it's safe for the baby.

Hi grumbler sorry what a wrong with putting Moses basket in crib? Don't understand the rolling over issue you mention - just so I know for next time as we did that for a few months until baby was comfy in the actual crib !

I read somewhere online that some babies maybe able to flip the basket when they get a little bigger. In that case, it's probably not a good idea to put the basket inside the crib. But I am no expert on it though. Just stating the words someone else wrote online.

By the time your baby is able to roll, or even wriggle, especially if swaddled, the moses basket will probably be too small anyway. My kids were all out of the moses basket by 3months.
Plenty to stress about being a parent, I dont think putting the moses basket inside the crib shoud be added to the list.

I also have a Moses basket with stand for sale, in excellent condition. Only used for less than 2 months! PM me if interested!

The other great option to a Moses basket is a sleepyhead, at Tiny Footprints. They can go in the crib, in your bed as a safe co-sleeper, a lot of people also travel with them so baby has a bed on the plane and also (more importantly!) at the other end.
