Looking for a good quality 2nd hand guitar

Hi, just an enquiry as to whether anyone has a 2nd hand guitar for sale. My son has had 2 weeks worth of lessons and is now wanting a guitar! Husband and I are a bit reluctant to fork out for brand new one, likely to be quite expensive, for him just to like it for one term!
Or any ideas where to get reasonably priced one for new??

I remember seeing guitars in Tom Lee for a few hundred. It would also depend on the brand and if you opt for nylon or steel strings.

The prices seem to have gone down a lot as I bought my acoustic steel string guitar for $1k+ about 6yrs ago, and something similar costs about $600 now.

There are also some local music shops dotted around each district and probably even cheaper than Tom Lee.

I think it would be best to visit these shops directly as opposed to buying second hand, as your son can then try them out. Guitars vary in sizes, so he needs to select one which he can play comfortably.
 
many thanks for the reply, tom lee was a name i have been told, someone has also said about wan chai music/guitars also, so i'll give them a look.
