looking for a good gynecologist

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good gynecologist? I prefer to see a woman, but I guess it doesn't really matter when it all comes down to it. Any help would be great.

would you know of a male gyno in central? i used an austalian doc fm dr anderson's office (forgot his name) in the princes building before.

yes i finally got a chance to look at your list of gyno and found his name....and yes, it's dr. dawkins. i thought he was very nice very gentle....he referred to his medical bible alot so is that a good thing? i don't know. my questions were very typical i thought. anyway i may wind out going back to him we'll see ....now that i'm not planning for another baby i am not as desperate to find the "best" doc.

I strongly recommend Dr Sally Ferguson at OTP. She has been my gyn for 6 years and my obn for 1 year. Really great person and listens to her patients. She has surgeries at the Wan Chai and Central practices of OTP. Ph 2824 9112 Wan Chai and 2521 3181 for Central
 
opinion between Dr Stephanie Chow and Dr Cora Ngai

Hi.. i have been diagnosed with endometriosis with 6cm choclate cyst. We have seen Dr Stephanie Chow and Dr Cora Ngai and both have suggested surgery. Dr. Stephanie Chow appear probably more skillful but very rushed whereas Dr Cora Ngai seems to be much patient and explains in very detail though not sure if she is as skillfull as Dr. Stephanie Chow.
I am not able to decide who is better for laproscopic surgery. Anybody has any suggestions/experiences on who is better of the two.

I haven't had any experience with laproscopic surgery, but I can tell you that Dr Cora Ngai is very experienced as she used to work in Queen Marys Hospital so would have seen thousands of cases, I am sure.

He is no big name but a very nice doctor who helped me go thru' my pregnancy early this year after close to 7 years of waiting & trying. Dr. Kun Ka Yan, Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. He has office at TST - tel: 27231239, 27231199, consultation by appointment only. I find him gentle and a good listener.

He's really busy but has many good comments, also guarantee very experienced.
