Looking for a good English speaking obstetrician in Kowloon

Hello,

I recently moved to Hong Kong and just found out I might be pregnant so I am looking for a good English speaking obstetrician in Kowloon who takes BUPA. I have a daughter but have had several miscarriages (both before and after my daughter was born). Thank you for any recommendations.

Does your insurance plan include pregnancy? I only ask because I also am covered under bupa but if you make an appointment that has anything to do with pregnancy, insurance doesn't usually cover it unless you have a more premium plan. Our Bupa insurance gives us a lump sum of 40,000 HKD which we can use however we want, so we just chose whichever doctor, which made things a bit easier.

I don't have experiences with miscarriage ( that must be so stressful) but I am currently seeing Dr. Alexander Yip in TST. He has excellent bedside manners and is so patient and gentle with us even with newbie questions. He's also the head of the OBGYN dept at Union Hospital which makes me believe he has good experience and abilities.
