Local English speaking schools?

I actually tutor some kids from these 'eilite' schools. For Marymount Primary School, a government subsidised school, actually take students who go through the central allocation system. That means, if you're living in the school zone, and you apply for one of these schools when your child is in K3, there is a chance your child gets placed into one of these schools. There's no need for interviews. If you want to get into a DSS school (a non-government subsidised one) then interviews are the go.

As for a reputable local chinese school that takes in non-chinese speaking students at primary level, there isn't much of a choice, I'm afraid. You could try the EDB website
(The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China |????H???@?M?????S?O???F??F??) where they should have more info and contact numbers.
