Live out Helper

I am planning on returning to work when my son enters kindergarden this fall.

Before he was born we had a full time helper who lived out, now I am returning to work we will need a full time helper again.

I have discovered the law has changed and now the helper HAS to live in - impossible in our small flat!

Does anyone know if this law is enforced at all?

(we used to pay for our helpers live out and would again so not looking to exploit anyone here, just dont want to have soemone sleeping in the kitchen!)

Do you think we can get away with it?

I remember reading somewhere that the Director of Immigration will approve live-out arragements on certain conditions. Best to email Immigration for details.
