light brown discharge & 3/5 engagement, does that mean I will go into labor soon?

hey, I had notice light brown discharge this morning and was having a bit of discomfort/ light pain in my lower abdominal. I told the doctor, she said it's very likely the baby will come soon.

But as I search the internet, lots of women experience brownish discharge in late pregnancy... so am not too sure about it...

my bb's head is already 3/5 engaged a week ago... today the doctor check it's still 3/5....

I can feel that my belly is so tight all the time these days and when I touch my belly I can feel the bb...

any idea whether this is a sign that the bb will come early? I am 36w4d today :thanks
 
Some women can be in "pre-labour" for weeks and weeks. Other women don't appear to be "preparing for labour" and then all of a sudden they go into labour. You're right in that all of those signs are the body getting ready for delivery - but it could be soon, or it might not be for another 4 weeks. My first daughter, I had no signs of labour until my waters broke at 39 weeks. My 2nd daughter, I had far more pre-labour symptoms from about 36 weeks but never went into labour and had to be induced at 41 weeks. Just need to keep waiting - it might be soon, maybe not!!
 
Sounds like baby will be arriving soon...most likely in the next few days if not in a matter of hours:) I was in pre-labor for weeks but didn't have any spotting until the day before baby arrived.
