LEGAL live-out helpers - help!

Hi all,
I keep looking for ways to hire someone legally but not have to have them living with their boss. (I don't want to live with mine, either!!)

I saw a post from PDLM that said that there are many Filipina and Indonesian workers who have the legal right to live here (not FDH visa) and could therefore live out. They must have some other kind of visa. I understand that this will cost more, and we are OK with paying more, if it means that our employee will have her own privacy at the end of the day (and on weekends, yikes).

People have also mentioned that you can hire a full-time Cantonese local person. I had a lead, but it turned into a dead end, on this front.

If ANYONE has experience doing this and can put me in touch with the proper way to do so .... please let me know! I keep hearing rumours and reading vague references but what I need is a direct link or the name of an agency or something that can actually hook me up with people who can legally work for me full-time and yet not have to live in my house.

You can post a job vacancy, detailing the hours you need, pay you're willing to give, duties required, etc. This is not an agency - you do the interviews and hiring.

you can try to post at filipino and indonesian stores. Some FDH got married in HK and got dependent visa. They might interested to work for you.
