latest to register with a public hospital

We're planning having a baby in HK, but we're from the UK. What is the latest time you have to register with a hospital? Someone told me they will only accept 7 months or before.

What happens if its after 7 months?

The earlier you apply the better but to be honest they can't turn you away if you have a Hong Kong ID card. When do you arrive in Hong Kong?

Not booked flights yet.... Baby due 26th Nov. Planning flying back first maybe second week August

Should be fine. Remember to bring all your prenatal records with you. Once you have your ID card sorted, even if its the temporary one call the clinic to book your first antenal appt.
