Last Christmas?

This is kind of a pointless thread... I went to the mall today and it was playing Last Christmas, the song that was originally sang by Wham.... I have always wondered why do people play that as Christmas song. For me this song is kind of sad... The guy got fool by the girl. It is not really a song about Christmas, is it?

Yes, I like the song pretty much too. But I don't think it carries any Christmas message.... Christmas is about love, peace, sharing, forgiveness, isn't it?... Not something like "you didn't appretiate my love last year, so this year I am going to find somebody else!" lol
