Lai-see (red packets) for confinement lady

How much laisee should I give to my confinement lady (pui yuet) at the completion of her contract?

We hired ours through an agency and there was no mention of this (I know that some pui yuets will demand it but ours didn't) but we really like ours a lot so I would like to give her a laisee at the end of her service. Would love to hear from those of you who have given laisees to their pui yuets - as a reference. :thanks
 
Mine was $3,000 plus $1,000 when bub was a month old. I was very confused. She just kept demanding (I didn't get her from an agency) and talking about it ALL THE TIME.

I know a friend who gave $5,000 for her part-time confinement lady or rather cook. She was very happy with her.
