I'm 11 weeks pregnant and plan to have the Integrated Down Syndrome test this week at the Lady Helen WOO Diagnostic Centre, which is on the 2floor at Tsan Yuk Hospital. Has anybody any experience in the centre or the test and was it a positive experience?

Many thanks for any advice.

yes, i got my 20th week scan done there... i went "private" as in paid 1100 bucks. so i didnt have to wait in a queue. but that apart, the expereince was positive... the radiologist was very good, communication was not a problem and the scan was very detailed. they have pretty good equipments. but i have no clue about the DS scan.

Hi,

I had both my 13 week nuchal screening and 20 week scan. For the nuchal screening test, we decided to pay about 600 extra to get the blood test results quickly. Those results were posted to my home address within the week. On both occasions I had a good experience, but there were a couple of things I wished I had known beforehand for the 13 week scan: pay for a printout of the scan in advance it's $290 and let them know you want a printout as they do the scan; don't have a pee just before the scan as it helps to have a fuller bladder for this one!
