Kowloon Junior School can anyone tell me if have a child attending and feedback?

Hi there, it looks like (fingers crossed) that we have a place for our boy in Kowloon Junior School to start at end of year when we move to Hong Kong from Australia. Does anyone have a child attending the school? What do you/the child think of it? Can you tell me if I can walk from Kowloon Tong to the school, or way too far away? Take MTR instead???? Many thanks appreciate any of your thoughts
 
hi - I assume you mean the campus on Rose Street for year 4-6 since the other for years 1-3 is in Hung Hom and defintely not walkable. It would depend on where you are living in Kowloon Tong. Actually Google Maps has street views for Hong Kong, so you can try to map it out from your address and see. Good for you getting into an ESF - heard that is very tough!
 
Hi, actually you are right that it is the campus in Hung Hom. We are hoping to live Beacon Hill. I gather if we are lucky enough to get him into a school we just have to find a way to get there!
 
Most schools have a school bus service and I'm sure KJS is no different. Email the school and they can provide you details of the bus service and where it runs from.
 
we are quite happy with the school overall. however, i think a good class teacher also makes a big difference.
