Hi. Tips. Don't take a stroller if you are the only adult. It is not stroller friendly. Lots of stairs. Don't bother doing the top part (you can take a bus, but it is a case of being on the bus five mins, get out for 5-10 mins, repeat several times!) The kids will only be interested in the animals.

Several sections close at 4pm, including the monkeys, so find out what they are and do them first if you think you might miss them. Shop also closes at 4pm or maybe 4.30. Certainly before the farm closes, which seems a little strange as it is close to the way out, and you don't want to carry eggs etc around with you while you and wandering.

We didn't eat there so can't comment on the cafe.

We liked it. It's fairly quiet and quite pretty, although I am sure it is even prettier in the spring.

Great information. Thank you.
The area seems very big on the website - any tips will be very useful - eg. where to start first, which parts are a definite must-see etc.
I'm thinking of taking a my daughter and her friends ( 4-5 year olds ) there next month.
