At what age do you think Kadoorie Farm is appropriate for? Would a 14-15 month year old child have fun or is it too young?

A bit young to truly appreciate the trip as an older child might, I think, but it's a great opportunity to expose the younger ones to different sights, sounds, smells (!). They might get a kick out of seeing some of the animals that you've talked to them about when reading picture books.

I have not been but if it is anything like the zoos or botantical gardens in Aust then I would go. Children love to see and feel and touch new things. They are not likely to remember the trip itself but it will help them build their other skills such as colours and smells etc which makes it well worth it.

When you go there, don't forget to check out the "store" next to the pig pen. They have lots of fresh (and I believe, organic) veggies and herbs there at very reasonable prices.

if you go on the weekend you need to call them in advance to reserve a parking spot. it is not very stroller friendly and the inclines are quite steep in some places. on weekdays you can drive all the way up to the top, but on weekends i guess there is too much people traffic to do so.

take your own food though as i don't remember any catering inside. but they do have a few nice spots with picnic tables.

my daughter liked the wild pigs the best, they were huge.
