hey ladies,

how goes it? lunch wed? 1230?

I slept in and had a day at home today pottering. It was great but am feeling exhausted. I wish I had one more day to sleep in. Anyway...bring on this Friday!

In preparing the nursery, I decided I need to buy baby hangers! Does anyone know a place in Central that sells them?

see whoever can make it this wed. Rach, let me know if you need a hand with anything for thus.

I'm in for lunch on Wednesday!

I'm using two types of baby clothes hangers - plain wire (plastic covered in different colours) from a Japan Home store kind of shop (long time ago now) but, in a fit of enthusiasm, I covered those ones with knitted fabric to match the room so not sure how much you would like them without that. I have quite a few left over that you are more than welcome to if you would like them - let me know and I can bring them Wednesday.

Otherwise I got some more substantial white ones from Mothercare - I quite like these because they can be hooked to each other to hang three down in a line if you have limited hanging space like me.

Wednesday lunch sounds good - where and when?

Rachel Gurr will also be coming along (some of you met her AGES ago - due next month).

I feel like there is a huge clock ticking in my head - I have packed, unpacked and repacked my hospital stuff twice in the past 24 hours!

It is the strangest feeling having an appointment to have a baby. I'm so excited I'm just not sleeping at all anymore.

I hear you on the appointment thing, Rach. When one of the twins was head up, I couldnt get that thought out of my mind that Id just pack up and go have a baby. It made it seem just as everyday as picking a time grocery shopping! But it doesnt matter how the day is 'chosen'; hold onto the excitement...Friday will be a great day to become a mum.

We chatted about two venues for Wed lunch - Dragon-i or The Pawn, that new place in Wanchai (across from those basketball courts)? Anyhow, since your the first to get a delivery from the stork, its your choice. 1230 sounds good...

hope i am not speaking out of school but one of us is in labour as we speak. i wont list publically but I will say it isnt me!!

out of our gang - tonight or tomorrow the first bub will be with us. yer ha!!!!!!!!!!!!! so exciting.

Regarding lunch, I love the idea of either place. I will try to make a booking tommorrow and see what wins (I've always had trouble booking Dragon i) and let you know.

I think we have at least 6, depending on any further developments.....!

As to me, I sincerely feel like junk. I feel hung over, drunk, jet lagged, like i am going to get that thing that we havent had for a month and exhausted..... I need to keep working but will be heading for a foot massage to get me through the day. GOD BLESS ME.

Lunch Tommorrow

Ok, I've booked Dragon i for 6 pax, 12.30pm under Rachael. I am counting myself, Rachel G, Sarah, Tracey, Fiona, Emma. Let me know if this needs to change!

I am feeling pretty HHUUGGEE and this heat isn't helping. Have booked a massage and pedi this afternoon to help feel a little more human. Apart from that it's just the countdown in my brain!

P.S. If you can't work out who is having the baby, Jane cancelled my Annerley appointment this morning as she's been up all night as someone's doula!!!
 
Since Fi and Emma have posted today, I think we all have a pretty good idea...can't wait to find out if its a boy or girl!

Yeah...even got pink polish to match the foul pjs at QMH! No varnish on my fingers though....hopefully they can make do with that!

how are you doing?

i hope my mood and state of being is just due to still working and sleep deprevation....

essentially i hate my maid, my mind, my boss, some of my colleagues, my body, ummm have i left anyone out? (the guy in a random 7/11 whom i have never met), my everything... i just want to sleep but that seems to be a thing of the past!

and i am sick of the pain around my ribs. also starting to freak how this bub is going to get out....

arhh... anyway... sure this is just a minor melt down....

hi there i am due on the 26th of july. i seem to be blessed with a good pregnancy and it is my first time. i was tired a bit in the first trimester and eating like crazy but seem to have settled down now. i am concerned however with my weight gain - have put on 5 kg which is very very high. ideally i only want to put on max another 2 kgs weight - any tips how to do this? trace

had i know i was going to max 22 kgs I WOULD HAVED DIED!!!!

:-) I might go to bed on this note.... please pray that i can get some sleep.
