hi just wondering how early can i use the jolly phonics method with my baby at home? i have heard so many good things about it....
can i do both the glenn Doman flash card thing and the jolly phonics? is it confusing for the baby?

It is better to do the Doman Reading cards between birth-age 3, and then introduce phonics. But most likely, you will find by then that your child already learnt how to pronounce the words based on the Doman method. Can anyone tell me the difference between Letterland and Jolly Phonics? How do I decide which one will suit my child?

Thanks Rani. I guess I'll stick to whatever offered by the pre-school that my child will be attending.

Earlier I bought my daughter a Letterhand ABC book. When she saw an "h" somewhere, she'd say "hairy hat man". Now I understand that the phonics system is basically used for introducing the different sounds of the letters. I think I don't need to rush it.
