Jan 2013 expecting ladies??

Hi,

I am expecting my first in mid-jan 2013. I live on hk side and am planning to give birth in Matilda. However have yet to receive a confirmation from them. My obgyn says not to worry and that i will get a spot, but i am as i have not blocked anyother hospital. Anyone else going through this. Any suggestions?

Other expecting mums in jan who would like to meet up to talk about obgyn's and hospitals?

I'm due Jan 2013 and I just logged on to start a thread looking for other mums too!

I'm going through the public system as my employee insurance doesn't cover private so will be giving birth at Queen Mary. I've also register with Annerley for which is proving to be a good place to turn to.

Would love to meet up - I work full time though and so it would be limited to weekends or evenings I'm afraid. Could that work for you and any other Jan 2013 mums?
 
I am due in the very end of December (30th) and just got my Matilda confirmation last week after 9 weeks of waiting. Don't worry, if your doctor says you'll get a spot, I'm sure you will!

I've just got onto geobaby through a recommendation from a friend. I'm due mid-January 2013 and will be delivering at Matilda. I was wondering if you had any luck meeting up with other mums and mums-to-be. I live in Kowloon but go to Central often.Would love to meet up with ladies who are expecting!

i'm a valley gal also, but happy to meet wherever. how about you advise me whether you favour:

1. weekdays or weekends. if you have a favoured day, please advise;
2. favoured time of the day between ... 09:00 - 13:00, 13:00 - 18:00, 18:00 - 21:00
3. favoured location - central or happy valley (as it appears there's a few valley residents)

btw, if anyone is interested, i'm beginning prenatal yoga classes in central for the 5 saturdays in september, from 10:00 - 11:00. investment is cheap! message me directly for details.

Hello ladies and your little bumps :-)

It has begun to dawn on me that I really need to start talking to other Mammas to be and stop scaring my non-pregnant friends with baby chit chat! I have heard excellent things from some mummy mates who joined the due date forum on here so hoping to meet some ladies to share this crazy experience with and for my wee one to have some ready-made playmates.
I am due mid-January and feel like that due date is fast approaching and I have books to read and "stuff" to buy!

@ flowqueenbee - I'm IN for a meet up. Who would like to chat over lunch one day next week? Monday (10th Sept) or Wednesday (12th Sept) @ 1pm? Alternatively, 6pm on either day for a drink? I work in central so this suits me however it would be great if we could set up a regular lunch/coffee/mocktail event across different locations.

If anyone is keen please let me know and I am happy to book somewhere.

I'm due the beginning of Feb with my first. I would be interested to meet up with you all who are expecting around the same time to swap stories and advice etc. I live and work in central - would be keen for lunch during the week if we can organise.

I am also interested in joining some prenatal yoga/pilates classes, if anyone has any recommendations of safe/certified classes please let me know.

Hi Ladies
Really nice to see there are lot's of other mummies due around the same time as me! I am due on the 17th Jan and really keen to meet some other expat ladies in the same position! I work in Sheung Wan but close to central if anyone fancies lunch/coffee during the week or am free after work.
Get in touch if you are keen or if some of have you have organised group meet up's would be great to join in on the next one!

I am due in mid Dec but hoping to hook up with you guys either before or after our babies start being born
pre baby I am working in Central and after the baby I will be at home in Shek o on the southside. Is anyone free to meet for a coffee over the next few weeks?
