jam doughnuts

I'm in search of a place that sells really delicious jam doughnuts (the sort with the yeasty dough). Been having some real cravings. Would appreciate any suggestions!
Have already tried park n shop international and the frozen ones at welcome but they don't cut the mustard!!!! HELP!!!!!

Hands down the Mandarin's cake shop - not too large, a nice yielding bite and a light dusting of powdered sugar. You've got me thinking of them now! They also have a scrumptious custard one.
They sell out quickly so suggest you ring ahead to reserve one or 2 - I often do that, along with a slice of their fruit cake. yum as well!

Maybe Marks & Spencer. Haven't bought there but have seen what look like doughnuts in the food section downstairs in the Queens Rd one.

The doughnuts at Great are good too, but Mandarin are number one!

Had the mandarin oriental doughnuts.......pretty divine. Tried the chocolate one with chocolate custard along with jam and vanilla, delicious. Thanks for the tip ten ten. M and s are next on my list! Thanks ladies

M&S doughnuts are reasonable for a quick and cheap fix, only $4 each cf Mandarin Oriental which is $17, but not to my taste. So final verdict for me, Mandarin Oriental doughtnuts are fabulous.
