Hi, I woke up this morning with incredibly itchy skin all over my body - it is driving me insane - and it has lasted all day. There do not appear to be any welts nor are there any other symptoms of allergy, just incredibly strong itches in strange places (like the palms of my hands and the insole of my feet) as well as legs, arms, back etc. Moisturising calms it for a while but only for an hour or so.
Could this be due to progesterone? I am on very heavy dosage since my egg retrieval last Wednesday because of defective luteal phase problems - injections every 4 days as well as twice daily progesterone gel pessary.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Is it likely to be progesterone? Any recommendations if it is?
